About Us

Alicemarie Tennyson has dedicated her special education teaching career to helping students overcome barriers to learning by implementing strategies that encourage them to become a fully engaged participant in the learning process.

She earned her Master's degree in special education from Aldelphi University and received her NYS special education certification in 1995. In 2000, she began training with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and learned to implement applied behavior analysis during the delivery of specialized instruction and ABA therapy to students with autism at the early intervention and preschool levels. She provided educational and behavioral support to various NYS and NYC school districts.  Alicemarie completed the necessary course work at Penn State university and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2008. In 2014 she received her License in Behavior Analysis (LBA) in New York State and opened her practice.

At Warwick Valley Licensed Behavior Analysts PC, we do not believe in "one-size-fits-all" solutions. We pride ourselves on achieving the highest level of client satisfaction by applying a customized approach to each clients distinctive situation.

 The treatment planning and support for individuals with autism is team-based and expands to family members, care takers, related service providers, educators, coaches, etc. 

We bring a unique and individualized approach to the practice of ABA. Our goal is to produce the most natural and enduring results. We set high standards for the care that we deliver to ensure that your expectations are met or exceeded.
